This years Secret Widget Fest was held on 30th and 31st August & September 1st Opened by actress Franciose Pascal it was a music packed weekend.
The music was performed on three stages (two outdoors and one within the clubhouse) and artists that performed included Lindisfarne, Georgie Fame, The Non Stop Sixties featuring Vanity Fair, Mike d’Abo, Brian Poole and Mike Pender Curved Air, Jackie McAuley and Rick Parfitt Jnr. There was some truly great music from the 60’s to 80’s plus over 30 more contemporary bands as well as trad-jazz from Otis B. Driftwood played music that spanned even more of the 20th century with a touch of comedy thrown in!
Some classic cars and retro caravans were on display. There were music workshops for beginners or those who just want to improve their playing (guitar, drums and ukulele).
